It's been almost one month since we got our 501(c)(3) status and just over a week since our website went live. So far, it's been an exciting ride as I learn new things about having a "social media" schedule, how to create a fundraiser online, and how to use SEO and CRM software to grow our nonprofit. But learning is something I'm passionate about, obviously, so it's been both interesting and beneficial. Our Creative Director of Marketing and Social Outreach, Carl, has been busy showing me how to effectively engage with our supporters online, and fine tuning our website, Facebook page, and Instagram. Our Director of Operations in Ghana, Sr. Agatha, has been busy compiling data on the community and students we serve.
Our first big fundraiser is coming up on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, Giving Tuesday.
