Quarantines, vaccines, you know what I mean. 2021 started with lots of hope as we thought we'd see the end of the pandemic. However, that didn't happen so we adapted to the new norm.
April saw our Founder traveling to Ghana to visit the students at Infant Jesus Senior High School. It was there the vision for SEA crystallized. By July SEA was incorporated, and in October, we received our 501(C)(3) status. In November we launched our website, Facebook page, and Instagram account. December saw our first donations come in with two students being provided with uniforms and books, and one student's education being sponsored for all three years of high school!
So SEA was off to a good start in 2021. We look forward to seeing all the great things we will be able to do in 2022!
