The closer I get to my trip to Ghana, the closer I am to finishing the Student Needs Assessment and the Community Needs Survey. These two documents will be instrumental in assessing who needs assistance and to what extent. It is not easy to decide who receives help and who does not when it seems everyone is in need. However, there has to be a fair and consistent system in place so that everyone has an equal opportunity and to ensure there is no bias in the decision making. That's why I've been working hard to prepare these two very important documents which will be the basis for SEA determining how our resources are used. This is the not so sexy part of aide work. Just wanted to share a little "behind the scenes" with you.
