After months of waiting S.E.A. finally got it’s 501(c)(3) status! It’s an exciting target to hit because our supporters will now receive a tax-deductible receipt for their donations.
I had waited to launch our website until we had this status. We can now be found in listings for federally recognized not-for-profit organizations. It’s the little things which mean a lot. Now the website is ready to roll out and our first fundraising campaign will be Giving Tuesday, which falls on November 30 this year.
